A flat construction panel used in building construction is formed by positioning a separating frame between two facing sheets and injecting an adhesive material (e.g. plastic foam) into the space between the sheets through a number of perforated tubes extending into the space. The adhesive material is fed into inlet ends of the tubes and the perforations pref. gradually increase in size from these ends to the other ends (which are pref. blocked) so that the space is progressively filled in a direction towards the inlet ends of the tubes. Subsequently, the assembly may be compressed. The tubes may be left in the completed panels as reinforcements and glass spheres may be also be introduced into the space prior to injecting the adhesive. The space is filled uniformly resulting in a better quality and stronger panel.
|
