The method for transmitting data comprises: determining an amount of data of an image transmitted by a signal source; determining a transmission mode corresponding to the amount of data of the image according to a predetermined condition; and determining mode selection information for indicating a timing controller to select different operation modes according to the transmission mode corresponding to the amount of data, and transmitting the mode selection information to the timing controller. |
