A prefabricated flooring or roll-out track comprises a number of components or mouldings connected together by flexible connecting components. Pref., the moulded components are so connected together that there are gaps between them. A typical arrangement comprises a mat of linked elements, like a wide band link chain with gaps between the elements. Pref. materials for the elements are: polyester mortar; polyester dough moulding cpd; epoxy mortar; polymer modified cement mortar; concrete; mortar thermoplastics; glass fibre reinforced plastics; fibre reinforced cement; polyester resin mortar; ceramics; compressed cement compsn.
