The present invention relates to a shock adsorption unit for a steering column, comprising: a mounting bracket fixing a steering column to a cowl; a curling plate connected to the mounting bracket, and collapsed in a car crash to adsorb impact energy transferred to the steering column; and a fixing pin closely attaching and fixing the mounting bracket and the curling plate with each other, and collapsing the curling plate in a car crash to maintain and control the impact energy of the steering column. Thus, in a car crash, the impact energy of the steering column is maintained and controlled, so damage to chest displacement of a user can be reduced. Additionally, an existing capsule for column mounting is excluded, so manufacturing costs and weight can be reduced. |
