PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spicule removal device for a chopper capable of preventing meat juice and the like from flowing into an air passage during reception of spicules while supply of air for discharging the spicules received in a pocked is stopped, and surely discharging the spicules.SOLUTION: The spicule removal device reciprocates a rotor 9, which comprises a pocket 8 for receiving the spicules extruded from a meat chopper and an air supply hole 15 connecting to the pocket 8, between a reception position and a discharge position of the spicules such that air is supplied at the discharge position to discharge the spicules in the pocket 8. The spicule removal device is provided with air flow control means such that air is supplied at a flow quantity less than that of the air supplied for discharging and capable of preventing the meat juice from flowing into the air supply passage, all the time except for a time of supply of the air for discharging the spicules.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
