<p>Monoaxially stretched, splice resistance, isostatic polypropylene tapes contain 1-30, pref. 5-20%, inorg. fillers, pref. talc. The tapes are esp. used for wrapping around articles with their ends overlapping and welded inside a 'lock'.</p>
