1. A method for monitoring respiration, comprising:
receiving a signal from a strain sensor provided on an optical fiber, wherein the optical fiber is coupled to an exterior of the patient; determining, using a controller, a property of respiration of the patient based on the signal of the optical fiber; and controlling, using the controller, ablation timing of an elongate body that is configured to be placed inside the patient based on the determined property of respiration of the patient. |
