A single rectangular sheet is folded on itself, welded along the two opposing longitudinal edges and two further welds are made at least partially delimiting a base surface. The welds on the two longitudinal edges pref. converge in the direction of the open end, and are formed after the welds delimit the base. The base is pref. shaped in the form of a 'W' with welds along the bottom edges. Alternatively the flat surfaces may be separated, the bottom edges formed into lugs which are folded back and welded to form the base. The bags are suitable for use as milk containers. |
