[Class 81 (ii)] Au appliance for use in filling cavities in teeth comprises a metal tray 1 shaped to fit the face of the tooth and to extend beneath the gum margin and having an aperture 4 through which impression compound or filling material may be applied to the cavity. A ledge 8 may be provided at the cervical margin of the aperture 4 to press back the gum, and a small tube 6 may be affixed to the plate so that it may be engaged by a tool 7 for manipulation. The appliance may be used with impression material so as to prepare a model from which a gold or porcelain filling may be prepared, or may be used for direct filling. |
