PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension board with an outer frame that can distinguish a suspension board which has been determined to be defective, by either surface.SOLUTION: A suspension board 71 with an outer frame according to the present application includes: a metal supporting layer 10; an insulating layer 20 on the metal supporting layer 10; a wiring layer 30 on the insulating layer 20; and an identification hole formation part 56 having an identification hole 55 penetrating the board 71 and used for determining whether the board 1 is defective.
