PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct motion distortion deformation and shaking simultaneously in a video captured by means of a camera using a CMOS sensor.SOLUTION: For a video acquired from a CMOS sensor, motion between two adjoining images including rotational motion distortion deformation caused by a rolling shutter is inversely coupled as the virtual motion between two images free from rotational motion distortion. The video is stabilized by performing first approximation of the update amount of Lucas-Kanade algorithm, thereby estimating translation parameters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
