<p>The board is divided up to provide several playing areas. Each area is subdivided in sixty squares, recognised by a combination of letters and numbers along each side. Each area has a number of pieces on it, which are chosen by each player in turn. The top (3) of the piece (1) is removed, the information in cavity (2) displayed and points won or lost. Each player places a marker (4) on a reference board, a facsimile to a reduced scale of the playing board, to show the state of play at any time. The board may also have the areas forming drawers in a cabinet.</p> |
