Lighting for photographic magnifier - with lamp in upright position and force cooled

The halogen lamp is placed in the upside-down position and lamp, lampholder and reflector are force cooled. Pref. three ligth mixing shafts are provided for negatives of different sizes. The efficiency of the lighting is higher as the light from the lamp does not have to be directed through 90 deg. The mixing chamber is in the form of a pyramidal structure, with a rectangular cross-section. In the second mixer stage a colour filter and a light diffuser are incorporated.
