DISTRIBUTED FILE SYSTEM

A distributed file system comprises: a metadata server configured to store and manage metadata with respect to a file; and a data server configured to store and manage data of the file and attribute information. The metadata server stores data, requested for a change, in a delta chunk of a read-only snapshot file or a writable snapshot file and connects an original file to the read-only snapshot file by an inode structure.
