Spray plant for atmospheric cooler - uses inclined catch elements, to reduce noise

The spray or trickle plant has fine fluid dispersion for a cooler, in which a fluid flows downwards due to gravitation. The plant contains a network of thin catch elements. The elements are vertically fastened to supports, and extend at right angles to the direction of fall of the fluid drops. Each element has at least one surface, which is inclined towards that direction. Several horizontal positioned laths are equispaced inside the cooler, and fixed to these laths is a network of thinner laths, which are transversely mounted in such a way as to catch the liquid drops on an inclined surface.
