Laser with wavelength selector - has element stopping certain light wavelength from optical resonator and material generating sum frequency wave

The laser wavelength selector element (6, 10, 11, 12) is used for filtering out a light wave of certain wavelength from its optical resonator (4). The laser contains material (3), generating a sum frequency wave, and material (2) generating a second harmonic. The element and the two materials are arranged in the optical resonator in such order the laser active material (1) is arranged at one side of the wavelength selector element, while the other two materials (2, 3) are arranged on the element other side. Preferably the sum frequency generating material (3) is located between the selector element and the material (2) generating the second harmonic.
