Shirt ironing and folding system - using plates operating at different levels to give automatic control of shirt sections

The system to lay out, partially iron and fold a shirt, has the shirt placed face down by a shoe on an ironing plate for partial pressing, followed by controlled action of a number of parallel plates at different height levels to fold and press sections of the shirt until it is fully pressed and folded for removal. Fully automatic ironing and folding action for a shirt is obtd., accommodating all the shaped sections until it is delivered in conventionally folded form as a pressed garment.
