Outlet channel for rolled products - using motorised rolls on swivel mountings to direct lateral movement of bars or tubes

The device is for receiving and ejecting very long products, esp. tubes, sections and bars; in the reception zone the rolls are oriented obliquely so the rolled bar moves sideways towards a guide, whereas in the ejection zone the angle of the rolls is reversed so the bar moves in the opposite direction sideways to the open side of the channel and is ejected. The angles of each roll can be adjusted individually, in groups, or all together, and the guide may be equipped with vertical guide-rolls. The pref. device consists of a frame carrying a row of platforms, each of which supports a motor, redn. gear and a roll, a mechanical linkage being used to alter the angle of the rolls. Provides automatic movement of the rolled products in two opposite transverse directions.
