<p>(A) Cyclodextrin derivs. of formula (I) and their pharm. tolerable acid addn. salts, (n = 6 or 7; R = CH3NH or (CH3)2N; R2 = mesitylsuphonyl or 2, 4, 6-triisopropylbenzenesulphonyl), are prepd. along with corresp. cpds. (I; R = NH2), by reacting corresp. cyclodextrin (-CH2R replaced by -CH2OH) with R2X (X = halo) in presence of an acid acceptor to give (I; R = OR2) then reacting with R3H(R3 = R, NH2 or N3) or its alkali metal salt at 30-100 degrees C. and, where R3 = N3, hydrogenating. (I), and unsubstd. amino cpds., are hypolipaemics esp. hypocholesterolaemics.</p> |
