<p>A desk has a top (1) with a rail (2) along the underside of each edge (3), the space between having a longitudinal rail (4) near each long side, made from square tube with an axial slot. Square headed bolts (6) slide in the rails and project through holes (7) in the drawer unit top, to be secured by nuts (10). The legs (11), also of square tube, butt against the underside (12) of the rail at each end, being fixed by screws (13) passing through the side of the drawer unit and tightening into reinforcing plates (14) inside the tubes. A bracket and screw (15) secures the leg to the drawer unit base (16).</p> |
