<p>The pencil or pen case has a swivel mounted insert (16) by means of which the pencils can be held secure even when the case is tipped up. The insert (16) preferably has a U-section with a base wall (24), an upper wall (20) having longitudinal slots and a rear wall (26) connecting the other two walls together. A resilient tongue (22) can be mounted between each two longitudinal slots (18) in the upper wall (20) so as to press the pencil against the base wall (24). In this way each pencil can be secured independently of the others so that they can easily be removed individually. Since the insert can in any case be swivelled up out of the case the removal of the pencils is made much easier.</p> |
