<p>The windscreen is fitted with a small digital display panel, on either side of the glass, and in the line of vision of the driver. LED or similar optic displays are used to provide a digital vehicle speed indication to prevent the driver from taking his eyes off the road. For simpler recognition the displays can be arranged in different colours for different speed ranges. Other vehicle information such as engine speed etc, can also be included. The display can be small enough so as not to obscure the driving view.</p> |
