1. A method for determining an amplitude noise and phase noise contained within a signal, the method comprising steps of:
quadrature mixing of the signal into a baseband or an intermediate-frequency band; determining the amplitude noise contained in the signal by amplitude demodulation of the signal mixed into the baseband or intermediate-frequency band; and determining the phase noise contained in the signal by phase demodulation of the signal mixed into the baseband or intermediate-frequency band, wherein before the quadrature mixing, a band-pass filtering of the signal is implemented, and wherein a band-pass filter is constructed from a frequency crossover network and an ohmic impedance for each of two stop ranges. |
