The brake is for the retaining of a ski, after its removal from the shoe, e. g. after a fall, and has at least one brake element, elastically pivoted. there is a hoop (53) internally prestressed, which attempts to move the brake elements (3) inwards. Inclined stop surfaces (54) are arranged and formed, so that during movement of the hoop in a direction towards the ski surface (12), they act against the internal stress. this causes the lower ends (31) of the brake elements to move upwards towards the ski surface, and towards each other. the hoop is retained in a base plate (48), so that it is at right angles to the surface of the ski. During lowering of the hoop, the flanks engage on an inclined stop surface, causing the leading together of the lower ends of the brake elements.
|
