PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite heat insulating material that combines the compressive strength not damaged by compressive stress due to thermal expansion and superior heat insulating properties when constructing a heat insulating material along a curved surface, and at the same time, enables constructing along the curved surface of a curvature of 1,500 mm even while being bent without breakage.SOLUTION: The composite heat insulating material comprises a molded body 1 of a low thermal conductivity material using nanoparticles as main materials and a reinforcing material 2 bonded on the surface of at least one side. The composite heat insulating material is characterized in that the thickness of the molded body 1 of the low thermal conductivity material is 10 mm or less and a bulk density is 400-600 kg/m, and the reinforcing material 2 comprises a woven fabric or a non woven fabric of an inorganic fiber or an organic fiber and the tensile strength is 60 N/25 mm or more. Preferably, the thickness of the molded body 1 of the low thermal conductivity material may be 3-5 mm, and the thickness of the reinforcing material 2 may be 2.0 mm or less, in the composite heat insulating material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
