PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positively-charged single-layer electrophotographic photoreceptor that suppresses the occurrence of transfer memory.SOLUTION: A positively-charged single-layer electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 is used as an image carrier in an image forming apparatus including a charging part that applies a DC voltage to, while in contact with, the image carrier. The positively-charged single-layer electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 includes a photosensitive layer 3. The photosensitive layer 3 contains at least a charge generating agent, a hole transport agent, an electron transport agent, and a binder resin.
