<p>The cheese making equipment comprises a measuring trough by which the volume of curds can be varied coming from the storage container. The measuring trough is filled and emptied by means of a control device. A distributor distributes the curds into cheese-making moulds supported by plates. The measuring trough is pref. in the shape of a conical cylinder, with a lid whose position is adjustable. At the bottom of the measuring trough is an emptying valve. The lid has a pneumatically controlled vent and a float contact. The measuring trough is supplied through a conical pipe fixed at a tangent to the trough and to the storage container, with a valve in between. The bottom of the container has a flap preventing spillage when the valve opens. The plates supporting the moulds are mounted on a moving carriage and table fitted with a jack and protective sheet.</p> |
