PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such a state that discharge cannot be stopped, even upon failure of a circuit which performs detection and discharge in order to make the voltage of each secondary battery in a battery pack uniform.SOLUTION: A battery pack voltage management device 100 for detecting and discharging the voltage of each secondary battery in a battery pack 1, where a plurality of secondary batteries 1a-1n are connected in series, includes: discharge circuits 10a-10n constituted of a series circuit of resistors 11a-11n, Zener diodes 12a-12n and switching elements 13a-13n, and connected in parallel with each secondary battery of the battery pack; voltage detectors 20a-20n for detecting the voltage of each secondary battery; and a control section 30 for controlling discharge of the secondary battery, by turning the switching element of the discharge circuit on, based on the voltage of each secondary battery detected by the voltage detector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
