Each tray 10 is of elongate shape with a female recess 18 at one end and a male projection 20 at the opposite end, the projection 20 being shaped so as to be received in the recess 18 of an adjacent tray 10. Holes 22, 24, 26 are provided respectively in either side of recess 18 and in the projection 20, each said hole being arranged to accommodate a respective pin 28 which forms part of an upright spacer member 12. Each pin 28 comprises a shoulder 32 and upper and lower pin portions 34 and 30 respectively, the pin portions being engagingly received in cylindrical spacers 38 also forming part of said upright members 12. Each tray 10 is formed with a countersunk seat 40 provided with a disc 42 of refractory material upon which the ceramic ware 44 to be fired is mounted.</p> |
