<p>The inspection glass arrangement for large tanks, containing streaming media under pressure has housing sections, lens and packing. The two housing sections are equipped with a lens seating surface and a packing support surface which terminates relative to the longitudinal centre line of the opening. A lens is accommodated in the openings of the housings and is positioned between the seating surfaces. The inspection glass arrangement comprises an inner and outer housing section (11), an inspection glass (12), compressable packing and a clamping device (14). The two housing sections are circular in shape and both form openings. The inner housing is welded to the tank.</p> |
