<p>The system is for mounting lorry frame cross members to support a wooden floor. Against the member (1) is fixed, by welding, an upper hook of flat iron, with its end turned down (2). The turned down part fits in a slot between the wooden floor (3) and the outside of the platform chassis (4). At this point there is a reinforcing piece (5) which is welded in position. The lower angle of the outer chassis is U-section (4) and has a flat piece of iron (6) which is bent over. The lower hook (7) fixed to the lower part of the member (1) is engaged and held very securely.</p> |
