摘要 <p>1483315 Separation of tungsten and molybdenum MOSKOV INST STALI ISPLAVOV 21 Feb 1975 7319/75 Heading C1A Tungsten and molybdenum values are separated by extraction by adding to an aqueous solution thereof H 2 O 2 as a complexing agent in an amount of from 1À5 to 2 mol per 1 g-atom of the total content of tungsten and molybdenum, adding to the resulting solution nitric acid, hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid to adjust the pH of the solution to from 0À5 to 4À3 and selectively extracting molybdenum from the resulting solution with a neutral or ionexchange organic extracting agent (as hereinafter defined), the volumetric rates of the aqueous solution to the organic phase being from 1 : 1 to 1 : 5. The aqueous solution advantageously also contains one or more water soluble phosphorus compounds in an amount of from 0À002 to 0À005 mol/l. of the solution resulting after the addition of hydrogen peroxide and the acid. An "ion-exchange organic extracting agent" is an extracting agent which is a salt of an organic cation and a non-organic anion or base precursor thereof, which exists under the conditions of the extraction only in the form of a salt. A "neutral organic extracting agent" is an extracting agent not containing a non-organic cation and anion capable of exchange and which is also not an organic base existing under the conditions of the extraction only in the form of a salt of a non-organic anion. Specified ion-exchange extracting agents are trioctylamine and quarternary tetraoctylammonium sulphate. Specified neutral extracting agents are tri-n-butylphosphate and tributylphospheneoxide. The molybdenum may be reextracted from tri-n-butylphosphate by an aqueous solution containing Na 2 CO 3 and NaNO 3 .</p>
