摘要 1483224 Triaxial fabrics DOWEAVE INC 6 Sept 1974 [10 Sept 1973] 39137/74 Headings D1E and D1M A warp beam 20 for weaving triaxial fabrics is prepared by winding onto the beam 20 a plurality of ends 16 in the form of flattened helical sleeve. In Figure 1 the ends 16 from spools 12 are fed from a circular creel 10 which is rotated by a motor 32. The ends are guided under and over guides 34, 18 and 19 which are shaped to equalise tension in the ends and to flatten the sleeve of ends, rotation of the creel causing the ends to assume a helical path in the sleeve, a roller 22 pressing the flattened sleeve onto the beam 20 as the beam rotates. Alternatively the creel may be stationary and the beam revolve as well as rotate. On the loom the ends are fed from the warp beam in the form shown in Figure 4. On the loom as shown in Figures 6, 7 the ends are fed from the warp beam 38 in the form of the flattened helical sleeve of Fig. 4 and, as they pass through the loom each individual end traverses weftwise across the loom passing from the top sheet to the bottom sheet of ends at one side of the loom and vice versa at the other side of the loom. During their warpwise travel and weftwise traverse the ends pass tension bars 41, 42 traversing saw teeth guides 44, are shed by healds 46 which push some ends up and some down and through guides 48. The weft is beaten up by teeth 54 inserted between the ends and the fabric is taken up on beam (not shown).
