The door-leaf has a frame surrounding the panel. It is made from a section which has a rib extending inwards. Onto this rib horizontal or vertical reinforcement bars are fastened. The panel (4) is attached to the rib (2) of the frame (1) and the reinforcement bar (3) by means of sectional rods (5) which are partially sunk into the panel. The U-section rods open towards the inside, and have one arm (6) of the U sunk into the panel (4) on at least three sides, around the edge of the panel, and are attached by means of the other arm (8) to the rib (2) of the frame (1). The rods (5) strengthen the panel and any blows to which the frame is subjected are distributed over a much greater area.
