<p>The noise-screening window, with a high degree of heat-insulating effect, comprises a series of panes (1) one behind another, with non-hermetic sealing facing the exterior. It is designed to prevent pane distortion, preclude moisture condensation in the intervening air space, and make further fittings unnecessary. The intervening air space (4) is kept in contact with the outside atmosphere on one side by means of apertures (3). These can be regulated and fitted with filters, to prevent dirt penetration in rapidly fluctuating conditions. There are apertures (5) to connect the air spaces together at one or more corners, and these may also be regulated.</p> |
