The operating systems have connected in front of them anelectronic data-processing system which compares read-in data of an external store normally operated by an authorised person with internally stored data. It enables the operating systems to be actuated only if the comparsion leads to a preset result. The external store or key data carrier is, as appropriate, a fixed-value store with outer contacts or a reprogrammable fixed-value store. It can also be a working store with a power supply e.g battery, solar cells or heat sensors.
