Cpds. of the general formula (I) where R', R", R"', R'v = H or 1-5C alkyl (jointy 2-8C) at least two of the gps. R', R" and R"', R'v = H provided R" = Me,et, Pr, Bu or Am if both R' and R'v = H and R"'= CH3; R1 = H or 1-5C alkyl or C1-8 alkOH; R2 = 1-5C alkyl or 1-8C alkOH (R1+R2 =8C); if R1 = H, R2 opt. = 6C alkylcarboxyalkyl; or NR1R2 = heterocycle (=6C) opt. contg. O. Pref. R' = alkyl, R" = H, and one of R"' and R'v = H. They have a physiological cooling effect on skin and mucous membranes and are for use e.g. in antacids and laxatives but esp. in toiletry prepns. also in cigarette filter tips. Prepd. conventionally from the alkylcyclohexanoylchloride and sec. amines. |
