Appts. for functional monitoring of gas ionisation detected for measurement of nuclear radiation comprises a detector an amplifier, a filter, and an operating voltage source at the output of which is a pulse generator acted upon by a control unit. A gate circuit and a comparator are connected to the control unit. The gate circuit, which is connected to the comparator, lies at the output of the chamber current amplifier. The measurement signals passing through the filter and nominal value signals are also transmitted to the comparator which emits indicator signals beyond adjustable tolerance levels.
