Vibratory liquid sprayer comprises a nozzle (4), a body (6) with a vibrator (8), pref. a piezoelectric device, a cover (10) in which the body is mounted by a resilient device (34), pref. an O-ring, and a vibration-free liquid inlet pipe (40). The inlet pipe is pref. attached to the sprayer by vibration dampers of resilient material which hold it in position, or it may itself be made of vibration damping material. The inlet pipe may be introduced into the injector member directly at or close to a vibration node and from the side, or it may be introduced through the rear end and the vibrator. The sprayer may be used as an ultrasonic fuel atomiser for injecting fuel into engines, or for other liquids e.g chemicals and dyestuffs.
