The fire fighting equipment allows the optional use of foam extinguishing and powder extinguishing agents according to the situation, taking into consideration the different extinguishing characteristics of the two agents. The equipment consists of cylinders (16) and (17), one containing foam producing liquid and the other powder. Both cylinders are pressurised and connected by hoses (3 and 4) to hand jets (5 and 6) combined into one tool by connectors (11). Each jet its own handle (7 and 9) and its trigger (8 and 10) respectively. Foam spreads well over the flame bed, but powder although having a limited spreading is more effective in extinguishing the flame. Therefore the operator uses one or the other jet according to the character and shape of the flame.
