<p>Electric heating equipment for road vehicles. It is independent of the engine running or not and consists of a motor, a fan and multiple resistances, placed in the fan air stream and inside the vehicle. The motor is connected to the battery and to earth, via a control switch. The resistance are mounted in series with the switched circuit, and can be connected in parallel also. The fan motor runs quite independently of the resistance supply, using selector switches. The resistances may also be used to operate refrigerating equipment or the fan may be used to draw in fresh air.</p> |
