Pulse width-modulated system for controlling a reversible d.c. motor or an inductive impedance comprises a source of pulse width-modulated signals of opposite polarity and variable width, two current control means with terminals connected to the signal sources in a complementary structure, and two current sources of opposite polarity, one with a higher voltage. Switch means are connected to the current control device in such a way that actuation of one current control devices connects up one current source to supply the load with energy, and actuation of the other connects up the other current source. The circuit thus forms an asymmetrical bipolar system using different energy supply levels to drive the motor forwards and backwards.
|
