This is fed at 17 with the result of a phase comparison between a reference signal and a signal generated by a tachometer 12 driven by the motor 10. The system compensates for the voltage drop across the motor armature resistance Ro, and regulates the speed of motor 10 which may drive magnetic tape in video recording- reproducing apparatus. |
