After kneading the casein in moist curds, the mixture is allowed to stand for 10 minutes to 3 hours to allow the casein to absorb the moisture and swell. The mixture is then granulated and dried. The particles, of size 0.5-5mm, may be drageed and may have vitamins, minerals and other materials incorporated in them. |
