PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device and a manufacturing method of a cord ply for tire that appropriately join even cord plies with high cohesion by surely and stably returning a precedent cord ply to an upstream side and securing sufficient overlap and prevent defects such as wrinkling from occurring.SOLUTION: A manufacturing device of a cord ply for tire is configured to manufacture the cord ply for tire that is lengthened by overlapping a rear edge portion of a preceding cord ply with a front edge portion of a succeeding cord ply and repeatedly pressing and joining the overlapped portion. In the manufacturing device of the cord ply for vehicle, on a downstream side of a pressing device that presses and joins the overlapped portion, a compression air ejection device configured to eject compression air to the rear edge portion of the preceding cord ply from below to lift up the rear edge portion of the preceding cord ply is arranged. |
