A synthetic resin mixture containing a partially hydrogenated block copolymer which contains at least two terminal polymer blocks A comprising a monoalkenylarene having a number average molecular weight of from 5000 to 125000 and at least one intermediate polymer block B comprising a conjugated diene having a number average molecular weight of from 10000 to 300000 where the terminal polymer blocks A make up from 8 to 55% by weight of the block copolymer and where not more than 25% of the arene double bonds in the polymer blocks A and at least 80% of the aliphatic double bonds in the polymer blocks B are hydrogenated, is prepared. a) from 4 to 40 parts by weight of partially hydrogenated block copolymer, b) a polycarbonate having a melting point of above 120 DEG C, and c) from 5 to 48 parts by weight of at least one synthetic thermoplastic engineering resin which is different from the other constituents, from the group consisting of polyamides, polyolefins, thermoplastic polyesters, poly(aryl ethers), poly(aryl sulphones), acetal resins, thermoplastic polyurethanes, halogenated thermoplastics and nitrile resins, where the weight ratio between the polyester and the synthetic thermoplastic engineering resin is greater than 1:1, and where at least two of the polymers in the polymer mixture formed in this way form with one another fully or partially continuous, mutually engaging networks. These synthetic resin mixtures can be used as engineering thermoplastics. |
