1. A computerized method comprising a processor and memory for authenticating an authentication pattern on the security element of claim 3, said method comprising the steps of:
i. using at least one sensor for capturing via the processor and memory at least one still appearance of (1) said at least one authentication pattern; (2) of said at least one gauge marker; and (3) of said unique serial pattern; ii. identifying via the processor at least one implemented gauge marker in said at least one captured still appearance; iii. calculating by the processor and memory the relative position and/or relative motion of said security element in relation to the at least one sensor based upon the identified at least one implemented gauge marker; iv. reconstructing and/or identifying the features of said authentication pattern based upon the calculated position of the security element in relation to the sensor; and v. authenticating said authentication pattern, wherein said authentication pattern is a either a real 3D authentication pattern or a virtual 3D authentication pattern. |
