PURPOSE:To accomplish indication of all necessary signals with an striking of a key switching device employing a permutations and combinations of figures and Roman letters by means of memory devices, arithmetic units and the like for input information and display information. CONSTITUTION:A multi-letter display 1 indicates operation conditions, input information, output information and the like of machine tools now in operation and numerical control unit cotrolling thereof being read out as required from a memory device for storing display information. When the operation condition of the numerical control unit is altered or contents of information to be indicated is switched, a key switching device 3 is struck according to preset permutations and combinations to sent command information to a machine under control or the memory device 4 for storing display information through a memory device for storing input information and a basic arithmetic unit 5. |
