<p>PURPOSE:To remove mechanical and electric adverse effects, by eliminating periodic variation tension applied to a cable by the shaking of a cable laying boat by means of electric control. CONSTITUTION:The ascent and descent of a hull are detected by means of an acceleration sensor 5 as an ascent speed signal and a descent speed signal. The signals are integrated and converted into shaking speed signals, and input to an adder 9 through an amplifier 7. Meanwhile, a cable laying signal with the same code as the ascent speed signal and a cable pulling-up signal with the same code as the descent speed signal are each input from a terminal 8. Addition signals obtained as the result are input to a cable speed control system 11 to control a drive source, and laying speed or pulling-up speed is controlled in response to shaking when laying or pulling up a submarine calbe. Consequently, tension can be made constant, thus allowing the moderation of the limitation of marine weather conditions when construction.</p> |
