A furnace roller assembly is provided with a helically shaped shaft-offset and metal product contact surface assem-bly wound around a furnace roller shaft. A corebuster may be provided within the furnace roller shaft to direct the flow of a coolant within the axial length of the furnace roller shaft and through a cooling element forming a part of the shaft offset and metal contact surface assembly. |
